Elizabeth McLaughlin Elizabeth McLaughlin Bio Elizabeth McLaughlin has been dreaming of being a professional actress since the age of five. Encourage by her family, she took voice and dance lessons throughout her early years in Zephyrhills, Florida, and appeared in a variety of roles in school plays and with the Richie Suncoast Theater (Fiddler on the Roof) and the Entertainment Review (with whom she performed for Governor Bush and Schwarzenegger and President Clinton.)

After relocating with her family to Los Angeles, Elizabeth quickly landed a featured role in an episode of Ugly Betty (ABC), as an alpha girl who causes a stir when she visits Mode, a fictional fashion magazine where Betty (America Ferrera) works as an assistant. On the set, Ferrera advised Elizabeth that when she becomes successful, she's going to have to learn to be comfortable being in the spotlight. As Elizabeth related to the Tampa Tribune, "You can't forget about that. No matter how many cool clothes you have or how much money you get, you have to be yourself."

In real life, Elizabeth is a gregarious high school freshman who shares little in common with Machiavellian Massie, her character from "The Clique." Her skills and interests involve student government, cheerleading (she was on the squad of her Florida school), speech, storytelling and modeling.
